A tragic incident has been reported from Odisha's Kendrapara district where a youth named Amrit Jyoti lost his life after being allegedly beaten by his friends. The victim's elderly parents have made a heart-wrenching allegation, stating that his friends called him out of his house and brutally assaulted him. Amrit was admitted to a private hospital in a critical condition with severe brain injuries, where he passed away during treatment. Derabish Police have registered a case, and a specialized team has reached Bhubaneswar's Capital Police Station to further investigate the matter as the victim was undergoing treatment there. The accused reportedly belong to the Lakshminarayanpur area of Kendrapara.
