Rourkela RTO Employees Arrested By Vigilance For Accepting Bribe Of ₹26,000 | Argus News ରାଉରକେଲା ଆଞ୍ଚଳିକ ପରିବହନ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାଳୟ (RTO)ରେ ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସର ବଡ଼ ଧରଣର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ। ଦୁଇଟି ଟ୍ରକର ନୂଆ ପଞ୍ଜିକରଣ ପ୍ରମାଣପତ୍ର ପାଇଁ ୨୬ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କା ଲାଞ୍ଚ ନେଉଥିବା ବେଳେ ଡିଲିଂ କ୍ଲର୍କ ନିରଞ୍ଜନ ସନ୍ଧା ଓ IT କାର୍ଯ୍ୟନିର୍ବାହୀ ଧର୍ମେନ୍ଦ୍ର କୁମାର ବେହେରାଙ୍କୁ ଗିରଫ କରିଛି ଭିଜିଲାନ୍ସ। ଅଭିଯୋଗକାରୀଙ୍କ ଠାରୁ ପ୍ରତି ଟ୍ରକ୍ ପାଇଁ ୧୩ ହଜାର ଟଙ୍କା ଦାବି କରିଥିଲେ ଏହି ଅଧିକାରୀ। ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଲାଞ୍ଚ ଟଙ୍କା ଜବତ କରାଯାଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ଏବେ ତଦନ୍ତ ଜାରି ରହିଛି। In a major crackdown on corruption, the Odisha Vigilance department arrested two employees of the Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Rourkela for allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹26,000. The accused, Niranjan Sandha (Dealing Clerk-cum-Night Watcher) and Dharmendra Kumar Behera (IT Executive), were caught while taking money to process new registration certificates for two auctioned trucks. The complainant, who had purchased the trucks through an auction, was repeatedly harassed for ₹13,000 per truck. The Vigilance team successfully seized the entire bribe amount and is currently conducting further investigations.
