Odisha Paddy Registration Rules Simplified: Agristack ID Not Mandatory For Farmers Now | Argus News The Odisha government has issued a major update regarding paddy procurement registration for farmers. Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Minister clarified that 'Agristack ID' is no longer mandatory for the initial registration process, easing the burden on farmers. Over 5,000 farmers have already registered across the state. The government has also simplified rules for sharecroppers, allowing them to register with necessary documents even in the landowner's absence. A new mobile app is being launched to facilitate remote consent from landowners. The registration deadline is August 31, with a possibility of extension if required.
