With the administration initiating the process to acquire 106 acres of land, nearly 1,000 families fear losing their homes and livelihoods. Villagers staged a massive protest today, coinciding with the joint inspection by officials from both Odisha and Andhra. They allege that no prior discussions were held with them and vowed to protect their ancestral land at any cost.
