Baitarani Flood Crisis: Water Flows 3 Feet Above Repaired Breaches | Villagers Panic-Stricken | Argus News ପୁଣି ଡରାଇଲାଣି ବୈତରଣୀ ବନ୍ୟା। ଘାଇ ମରାମତି ହୋଇଥିବା ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଏବେ ପ୍ରାୟ ୩ ଫୁଟ ଉଚ୍ଚରେ ବନ୍ୟାଜଳ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେଉଛି। ଫଳରେ ପୁଣି ଗାଁ ଭିତରକୁ ବନ୍ୟାପାଣି ମାଡ଼ି ଆସିବା ଆଶଙ୍କା ଦେଖାଦେଇଛି। ଏପଟେ ବନ୍ୟା ବିପନ୍ନ ଲୋକେ ଏଯାଏଁ ଘରକୁ ଫେରି ନଥିବା ବେଳେ, ପୁଣି ଲଘୁଚାପ ଜନିତ ବର୍ଷା ଓ ବନ୍ୟା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଚିନ୍ତାକୁ ଆହୁରି ବଢ଼ାଇ ଦେଇଛି। ଗତ ଜୁଲାଇ ୨୯ରେ ବୈତରଣୀ ନଦୀର ଶାଖା କାଣୀ ନଦୀରେ ତରପଦା ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ଅଧୀନ ଡୋଭାବିଲ-ପାଟଣା ନିକଟରେ ଦୁଇଟି ଘାଇ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଘାଇ ଯୋଗୁଁ ବନ୍ୟାଜଳ ଗାଁ ଭିତରକୁ ପଶି ଅନେକ ଅଞ୍ଚଳକୁ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ କରିଥିଲା। ପରେ ଘାଇ ମରାମତି କରାଯାଇଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଏବେ ପୁଣି ବୈତରଣୀରେ ତୃତୀୟ ବନ୍ୟା ଆସିବା ପରେ ସ୍ଥିତି ଗମ୍ଭୀର ହୋଇପଡ଼ିଛି। ଘାଇ ମରାମତି କରାଯାଇଥିବା ସ୍ଥାନର ଉଚ୍ଚତାଠାରୁ ପ୍ରାୟ ୩ ଫୁଟ ଉପରେ ବନ୍ୟାଜଳ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେଉଛି। ଫଳରେ ତଳିଆ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ରହୁଥିବା ଲୋକଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପୁଣି ଭୟ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଛି। ପୁଣି ବନ୍ୟାଜଳ ଗାଁ ଭିତରକୁ ପଶିଲେ ସ୍ଥିତି ଆହୁରି ଭୟାବହ ହେବା ଆଶଙ୍କା ରହିଛି। The Baitarani river is causing widespread alarm once again as a third wave of floods hits Odisha.
