Another Low Pressure Over Bay of Bengal: Heavy Rain Alert For Odisha | Argus News ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଲଘୁଚାପ ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ବର୍ଷା ଜାରି ରହିଛି। ଉତ୍ତର-ପୂର୍ବ ମଧ୍ୟପ୍ରଦେଶ ଏବଂ ସଂଲଗ୍ନ ଛତିଶଗଡ଼, ଉତ୍ତର ପ୍ରଦେଶ ଓ ଝାଡ଼ଖଣ୍ଡ ସୀମାବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଲଘୁଚାପ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ସକ୍ରିୟ ରହିଛି। ଏହାସହ ଏକ ନିମ୍ନଚାପ ରେଖା ସୁନ୍ଦରଗଡ଼, ଅନୁଗୁଳ, ଖୋର୍ଦ୍ଧା ମଧ୍ୟ ଦେଇ ଉତ୍ତର-ପଶ୍ଚିମ ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗର ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବ୍ୟାପିଛି। ଏହାର ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ଆଗାମୀ କିଛି ଦିନ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ବର୍ଷା ଲାଗି ରହିବ। କେତେକ ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ବଜ୍ରପାତ ସହ ଘଣ୍ଟାପ୍ରତି ୪୦ କିଲୋମିଟର ବେଗରେ ପବନ ବହିବାର ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି। ଆଜି ଉପକୂଳ ଓ ଉତ୍ତର ଆଭ୍ୟନ୍ତରୀଣ ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷାର ସମ୍ଭାବନା ରହିଛି। ବିଶେଷ କରି ମାଲକାନଗିରି, କୋରାପୁଟ, ଯାଜପୁର ଓ କେନ୍ଦ୍ରାପଡ଼ା ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ଗୋଟିଏ କିମ୍ବା ଦୁଇଟି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ହୋଇପାରେ। ସେହିପରି ବଲାଙ୍ଗିର ସମେତ ଉତ୍ତର ଓଡ଼ିଶାର କେତେକ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପାଇଁ ୟେଲୋ ଆଲର୍ଟ ଜାରି କରାଯାଇଛି। ୧୫ ଅଗଷ୍ଟରେ ମୟୂରଭଞ୍ଜ, ସୁନ୍ଦରଗଡ଼, ସମ୍ବଲପୁର ଓ ବରଗଡ଼ ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ସମ୍ଭାବନା ଥିବାରୁ ୟେଲୋ ଆଲର୍ଟ ଜାରି ହୋଇଛି। ୧୩ ଅଗଷ୍ଟରୁ ପୁଣି ବଢ଼ିବ ବର୍ଷା । Odisha is on high alert as another low-pressure area is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal around August 13-14. This system is expected to trigger heavy rainfall across coastal and northern Odisha from August 13. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for several districts, warning of thunderstorms and wind speeds reaching up to 40 kmph.
