2500 Families Deprived Of Ration Rice In Puri's Gop; Locals Protest Against Admin Negligence ଅନ୍ନପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣା ଚାଉଳ ପାଇବାରୁ ବଞ୍ଚିତ ୨୫୦୦ରୁ ଉର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ବ ପରିବାର। ଦୁଇ ମାସ ହେଲା ଚାଉଳ ମିଳୁନଥିବା ହୋଇଛି ଅଭିଯୋଗ। ଦୁଇଟି ପଂଚାୟତରେ ଡିଲରଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟ ଓ ଗୋଟିଏ ପଂଚାୟତରେ ଡିଲର ସ୍ୱେଚ୍ଛାକୃତ ଭାବେ ଡିଲରସିପି ଛାଡ଼ିଦେବା ପରେ ପ୍ରଶାସନିକ ସ୍ତରରେ ଅବହେଳା ଯୋଗୁଁ ଏପରି ସମସ୍ୟା ଉପୁଜିଛି। ପୁରୀ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଗୋପ ବ୍ଲକର ସୁତନ, ତରୋକର ଓ ଡଭାର ପଞ୍ଚାୟତରେ ଡିଲର ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ଏବଂ ଚାଉଳ ଉଠାଣରେ କଟକଣା ଯୋଗୁଁ ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀମାନେ ନାହିଁ ନଥିବା ଦୁର୍ଦଶା ଭୋଗୁଛନ୍ତି। Over 2,500 poor families in Sutan, Tarokar, and Dabhar panchayats under Gop block of Puri district are struggling for a square meal. For the last two to three months, these beneficiaries have been deprived of their quota of Annapurna rice. The crisis emerged after the death of some dealers and others resigning, coupled with administrative delays in temporary tagging and approvals from the Sub-Collector's office. While other parts of the block receive rations smoothly, these three panchayats face a dire situation. Following protests, the BDO has assured that the issue will be resolved within 10 days.
